A run of five defeats in eight Premier League games has cast serious doubts over Lampard’s future.
However, Chelsea face a Luton side in equally inconsistent form with just four wins in their past 11 games.
The winner will face a trip to either Barnsley or Norwich in the fifth round.
Date, time and venue
Chelsea vs Luton Town is scheduled for an 12pm GMT kick-off on Sunday, January 24, 2021.
The match will be held behind closed doors at Stamford Bridge.
How to watch
TV channel: The match will be televised on BBC One.
Live stream: UK viewers will be able to watch the match online via the BBC Sport website or BBC iPlayer.
Both Kai Havertz and Timo Werner started in the previous round and could well do again this weekend. Billy Gilmour will be looking for another opportunity to impress, while Reece James should start after only recently returning from injury.
Olivier Giroud and N’Golo Kante are Frank Lampard’s only fitness concerns, and both will be assessed ahead of kick-off.
Prediction: Chelsea 3-0 Luton
Frank Lampard is under pressure and you would imagine a FA Cup exit could spell the end for him at Stamford Bridge.
The Chelsea boss will be more than aware of that so is unlikely to take too many risks, and his team will have enough to see off the mid-table Championship side.
